OUR RATES ARE INCREASING SOON!

Dear Friends,

It's been five years since our last price increase and after patiently waiting for an economic recovery to implement an increase to keep up with our rising costs, we have decided to raise prices at A DOG'S LIFE. As a consumer, I know that no time is a good time to see price increases.  This action is not to increase profitability, but an effort to keep up with our increased cost of doing business. It is my responsibility to reinvest in the business and take a long look at both operations and expenses before our clients are asked to pay more for our services. We have all experienced many established businesses shutting down or making drastic cuts in their level of service. Neither of those actions are an option for the service that we provide you...

RELAUNCH OF GROWLY DOG PROGRAM

Growly Dog Program is back! This program is designed to help owners of reactive dogs who bark, growl, or lunge at other dogs while on leash. Some reactive dogs are fearful, while others are friendly but get frustrated when they aren't allowed to greet the dogs they encounter. These dogs need to build confidence, focus, and self-control in the presence of other dogs, and the Growly Dog Program is designed with those goals in mind.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY DAYCARE PARTY

Be sure to reserve a space for your pooch for our St. Patrick's Day Daycare Party on Friday, March 16th! Every dog that comes to daycare that day will be entered into a raffle for a gift basket full of fun and festive toys and treats your dog is sure to love!

Make sure to take a spin through our Owner's Lounge to pick up the special goodies we'll have just for you! If you are feeling especially creative, dress up your pup and we'll take a picture for you! Feel free to get as creative as you would like!

THE RETURN OF THE BAY AREA PET EXPO

A DOG'S LIFE is excited to be participating in the 2nd annual Bay Area Pet Expo, Saturday, February 4 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Admission is free, and the event will be all indoors. If you're a pet owner - or want to be one - you'll find everything you need under one roof, so that you can "play, shop, learn or adopt" all in one place!

Dogs are welcome to attend this event as long as you bring along proof of all age-appropriate vaccinations and have your pooch on a non-retractable leash.

There will be over 100 vendors and rescue groups for you to visit and learn about. There will be live demos in agility, obedience training, pet care and activism, as well as giveaways and prizes, a pet fashion show and costume contest, author book signings, and more! There will even be low cost immunizations for pooches that need them! We had a great time at this event last year, and are looking forward to doing it again! Make sure to visit the ADL booth and say hello! We'll see you there!

As a small business, we are always doing our best to reduce operational costs. It has come to our attention that processing credit cards have taken a huge toll in our costs. The fees for processing credit cards as opposed to debit cards are much higher.

We will continue to accept credit cards but appreciate the use of cash, check or debit cards when making purchases.
