ADULT DOG EDUCATION & OBEDIENCE
CANINE MIDDLE SCHOOL (Basic Obedience)
Canine Middle School is a basic training class designed to teach you and your dog all the fundamentals of training. Best of all, you'll use positive reinforcement training methods that help strengthen the bond between you and your canine companion. Both you and your dog will graduate with a better understanding of each other! Canine Middle School includes: Come when called ~ Pay attention ~ Leave it ~ Wait ~ Polite leash manners ~ Sit/Down/Stand ~ Sit for greetings ~ Go to place.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a five-week course and your dog should attend all classes with you.
COURSE PREREQUISITES:
- Dog must be over 5 months old (feel free to enroll your senior dog since you really can teach an old dog new tricks!)
- Dog must have proof of current vaccinations

CANINE HIGH SCHOOL (Intermediate Obedience)
Canine High School is designed for graduates of Canine Middle School (or any other basic, level 1 training class). The behaviors covered in Canine Middle School will be refined and improved in Canine High School. Special emphasis will be placed on motivating your dog so you get quicker responses to your commands, better recalls, stays with distractions and walking nicely on a leash. New skills (emergency recall, variations on heeling, distance commands, etc.) will be taught. This class will help keep both you and your dog on track as you train to improve reliability.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a five-week course and your dog should attend all classes with you.

- Completion of Canine Middle School or other level 1 basic obedience class
- Dog must be over 5 months old (feel free to enroll your senior dog since you really can teach an old dog new tricks!)

SMALL DOG MANNERS
This is the class for dogs that are small in size but full of personality! We will focus on the life skills that small dogs need to get by in a big world: greeting new people, coming when called, walking nicely on leash, staying quiet at home, and feeling comfortable with handling and grooming. Dogs will also practice leash greetings and socialize with like-minded canine friends. Small Dog Manners is appropriate for adult dogs who are new to training, and dogs who know the basics but would like to see things from a pint-sized perspective.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a five-week course and your dog should attend all classes with you.
COURSE PREREQUISITES:
- Dogs must be over 6 months old (feel free to enroll your senior dog since you really can teach an old dog new tricks!)
- Dogs must weigh 25 lbs or less
- Dogs must be friendly with other small dogs
- Proof of current vaccinations
